The Talent Development Network (TDN) is an innovative economic and career development program on a mission to stop Miami's "brain drain." In the next 12 years, approximately 500,000 students will graduate from our local high schools. If we want to keep Miami's best and brightest, we need to build an internship culture for the future.
We're Partnering with Handshake for internship postings!
We've partnered with Handshake to give our students and employers a new and improved registration experience. Employers can hire students at any of the seven academic institutions at no cost, while students from across Miami-Dade gain access to top-notch paid internships and the opportunity to develop soft skills and form mentorships.
All internships will be posted via your institution's Handshake account. Please note that if your institution does not use Handshake for internships, our team will continue to work with you to ensure you have all the information and resources to create and promote internships.
TDN by the Numbers
The One Community One Goal (OCOG) Talent Development Network is the collective effort of Miami’s seven major educational institutions – Barry University, Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, Miami Dade College, St. Thomas University, the University of Miami and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. They form the Academic Leaders Council and work alongside Miami’s economic development agency, the Beacon Council, as well as industry partners, to build and retain talent and align academic curriculum with industry needs in South Florida.

Internships have the potential to transform the lives of our students and regional economy alike. If you'd like to be part of Miami's workforce revolution or if you'd like to support our mission, reach out or donate to TDN.
